Lisa, Driade.

I was involved in the design of Driade’s upholstered easy chair Lisa when working for the milanese design firm Romanelli, that owns its intellectual property. The design brief was inspired by italian modernism with a special regard to Guglielmo Ulrich and five design proposals were presented to Driade’s patron Enrico Astori. Lisa easy chair was chosen for production not by chance, I believe. When I was working on the design of this easy chair the studio was visited by the artist Lisa Ponti – daughter of the world famous italian architect Gio’ Ponti.
