Up-cycled rubber baskets.

This collection of baskets is a study project aimed at up cycling production rubber scraps of the worldwide manifacturing company Vibram. Rubber sole’s moulding produces a large amount of scraps that can be recycled just in small amounts by crushing and adding it in a fresh rubber mix. Being rubber a weather-proof material the original idea of interlacing rubber scraps was to make a collection of baskets that could be used for gardening purposes. The project was communicated through professional photos and a press kit advertising the fancy name “Season*s Greetings”. Being appreciated by the company’s owner Marco Bramani, it was later followed by a collection of rubber beach bags prototypes.
